"We are thrilled to be opening this new parking garage because finding a convenient parking spot should never be a source of stress for drivers in West New York,” said Mayor Rodriguez. “A special thanks to the efforts of Congressman Albio Sires, Senator Cory Booker, and Senator Robert Menendez, who have kept our projects moving forward despite unfortunate setbacks due to COVID, in order to provide the much-needed relief our residents deserve.”

Rodriguez's administration has taken a multifaceted approach to increase the total number of parking spaces in the community, including a major expansion of angled parking as well as the construction of new parking decks at 51st Street, 57th Street, and 67th Street.
