Adoption Alert: 'Friendly' Belgian Hare

Scooter, a two-and-a-half year old male Belgian hare, was brought to the Associated Humane Societies at Popcorn Park when he was found on the front porch of a home.

The resident who found Scooter searched for the original owner, but when no one claimed him, it was time to find new home.

Scooter was described as "very sweet" and "friendly." He does not mind being handled, and welcomes attention.

"He occupies his time by munching on fresh veggies, pushing around his hay to keep his area clean and greeting visitors as they come to see him," Sandy Hickman from Popcorn Park said.
