Bayville Woman Facing Multiple Charges After Lacey Vehicle Stop

Briana Seeds charged with drug, alcohol offenses and and motor vehicle violations, chief says

LACEY TOWNSHIP, NJ - Lacey police recently charged a 20-year-old Bayville woman with underage drinking, possession of marijuana and a number of other drug and motor vehicle offenses, Police Chief Michael C. DiBella said.

Officer Anthony Sarno stopped Briana Seeds, Red Bank Avenue, at 12:28 a.m. on May 31 on Route 9 near the Lacey Mall. Seeds was also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, and underage possession of alcohol, the chief said.

Seeds also received motor vehicle summonses for careless driving, driving with an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle, possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle, and failure to exhibit a driver's license, DiBella said.

A passenger in her vehicle, Alan Ricci, 23, also of Red Bank Avenue, had two outstanding warrants. One was a $558 Stafford Township Municipal Court warrant and the other was a $157 Ocean Gate warrant.

Ricci was transported to police headquarters and processed. He was taken into custody by Stafford Township Police.
