Buckle Up for the Worst Potholes in Lacey

We asked Patch Readers which streets have the most bumps, divots and craters in their area.

Nothing puts a dent in a morning commute like bad traffic and a street littered with potholes.

Blizzard 2016 left monumental snowfalls up and down the east coast, and Lacey was not immune to its wrath.

Large snowfalls compiled with El Niño induced warmer temperatures have caused more potholes and road problems than most motorists can stomach.

Patch Readers gave us a rundown of particularly pocked streets in their neighborhoods. Here are some spots that might be worth detouring:

  • “Route between Lakeside Drive South and Lacey Road, just went through there, it was bad.”
  • “In front of the high school”
  • “Route 9 south between Walmart and McDonalds”
  • “I have big wheels and the pot holes still throw me all over the road. I can just imagine what they’re doing to the little cars. BAD by the diner for sure.”
  • “Route 9 from Lakeside Dr S to Lacey Rd is TERRIBLE! I hit a pot hole there yesterday, my car started bucking and sputtering. Check engine light goes on! Turns out it knocked a coil pack loose and my car was freaking out.”
  • “The entire stretch of Route 9 like always, especially between the Home Depot and Wal-Mart.”
