DISCENZA For Ocean County Sheriff- Please VOTE November 4, 2025

Regina Discenza from Lacey Township is running for the Ocean County Sheriff seat. The election date is November 4th. (If you need a mail in ballot- apply now.)

Mrs. Discenza is a former 2 term Lacey School Board Member and has been attending school board meetings for over 20 years. Mrs. Discenza graduated from John Jay College in New York with a BA degree cum laude in Criminal Justice and worked briefly as an investigator for the City of NY.

Currently a Lacey resident for 26 years, she is a member of the Ocean County Senior Services Advisory Committee. Regina served as a legal guardian to an elderly great Aunt with Alzheimer’s for 8 years. And later as an advocate for her parents afflicted with dementia.

Married 36 years with two sons- a retired US Navy officer and a registered nurse.

As a school board member, Mrs. Discenza completed the New Jersey School Board Association's Board Member Academy programs attaining the certificate of Master Board Member in May 2019 and went on further to attain Certified Board Leader in May of 2020.

A public advocate for many years, Mrs. Discenza has been attending Lacey Township Committee meetings, Planning Board meetings, Lacey Municipal Utilities Authority meetings and Lacey Board of Adjustment meetings.

Mrs. Discenza has been a member of the Lacey Municipal Alliance and still attends their meetings.

Mrs. Discenza takes the law seriously and holds public officials accountable for their spending of public funds. She has been attending Ocean County Commissioner meetings for approximately 3 years.

Mrs. Discenza currently serves as the Noon Usher at St. Pius X Parish in Lacey.

I am not a career politician and I am committed to the taxpayers of Ocean County.
My family does not own any companies nor do we do business with the County of Ocean.
