LACEY, NJ — In one week, Lacey Township will head to the polls and cast their votes for two committee members. Patch has asked local candidates to share their thoughts before the Nov. 2 General Election.
Patch sent out emails to all candidates to the email addresses listed for their campaign provided to the office of the clerk. The responses received will get published between now and Election Day.

Education: Graduated from West Chester University in 1979.
Occupation: Financial Advisor for 33 years
Previous or Current Elected or Appointed Office: Township Committeemen for the past six years and 22 years Chairmen of Board of Adjustment

Why are you seeking elective office? Township Committeemen
The single most pressing issue facing our (board, district, etc.) is _______, and this is what I intend to do about it.
Over development - making sure that there is not over development practically on the Route 9 corridor.
What are the critical differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?
Experience - for over the last quarter century I have held a position either on the Board of Adjustment or as an elected official on the Township committee.

Determined to keep Lacey a great place to live.
What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?
Stable taxes, smart, safe growth and accountable government.
The best advice ever shared with me was:
Treat people as you want to be treated.
What else would you like voters to know about yourself and your positions?
I have lived in Lacey since 1985. Beside sitting on the Board of Adjustment and elected to the Township Committee, I have been a volunteer coach of youth sports here in Lacey. I was a Cub Master and an Assistant Scout master. I have held many positions in the Lacey Methodist Church.
