Help Clean Up Lacey's Lakes This Spring

The township's Environmental Commission is sponsoring a cleanup of Lacey's lakes at the end of May.

LACEY, NJ — Help keep Lacey beautiful with the township's environmental commission on May 31 as volunteers are invited to clean up Lacey's lakes.

"Get ready to roll up your sleeves and help make Lacey's lakes cleaner and more beautiful! " Township officials said. The event will be held from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Lake Barnegat, Deer Head Lake and Mill Pond.

Clubs and organizations will be posted at each location to ensure that everywhere gets clean.

Bags and gloves will be provided; a limited amount of grabbers will also be available. Wear sturdy footwear and dress appropriately for the weather.

Participants must be at least 10-years-old and children must be supervised at all times.
