LACEY, NJ — It takes a lot to fill the bellies of the dozens of animals taken care of by the Popcorn Park Animal Refuge. That's why they're asking for help from the public during their Annual Food Drive.

"Whether you'd like to send some munchies for the monkeys, tropical delights for our exotic birds, big cat cuisine for our lions and tigers, or some big biscuits for our big ol' bears, we'll take it, and appreciate it all so much!" Zoo workers shared on social media.

According to refuge staff, it costs about $600 a week to feed just one of their big cats - of which they house 11, not to mention the other exotics, farm animals and more they take care of.
