It was a very wet weekend in Ocean County, and more rain is on the way this week. Here's how much rain fell in Lacey.

LACEY, NJ — Mother Nature made good on her promise of April showers this past weekend, soaking the state with some much-needed rain.
Ocean County had some of the highest rain totals in the state, with the most rain falling in the county on the north branch of the Metedeconk River and in Berkeley.
According to the Community Collaborative Rain Hail and Snow Network, Lacey Township received 3.34 inches of rain. This data is for Friday through Monday.

And according to the Department of Environmental Protection, the north branch of the Forked River received 3.64 inches of rain over the past 48 hours as of Monday morning.
Cedar Creek by Bamber Lake received 3.98 inches of rain over the past 48 hours too, according to the DEP.

Nearby, Berkeley got 7.03 inches and Pinewald had 5.77 inches of rain, the National Weather Service said.
And more rain is in the forecast for the week. According to AccuWeather, Forked River can expect showers on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
