Areas have flooded throughout Ocean County, and rain is anticipated to continue into Monday, according to the latest forecasts. The most rain in the county fell in Berkeley, with 4.7 inches as of Sunday evening, according to the National Weather Service.
The North Branch of the Forked River saw 5.30 inches of rainfall between Friday night and Sunday evening, according to the NWS, and 5.33 inches fell at Cedar Creek at Cedar Crest.
