Illegal Fireworks Keep Lacey Police Busy, Chief Says
All of the arrests occurred on July 2.

Lacey Township police have made several fireworks-related arrests over the past week, Police Chief Michael C. DiBella said.
All of the arrests took place on July 2, he said.
9:46 p.m - Officers Anthony Sarno, Michael Verwey, and Christopher Meyler responded to Sunrise Boulevard near Leeward Drive in Forked River on a report of fireworks being set off. Investigation at the scene led to a special form of complaint and summons being issued against Daria Papamechail, 18, Conant Street, Danvers, MA for possession and use of illegal fireworks. She was released at the scene, DiBella said.

9:06 p.m. - Officer Michael Verwey responded to the 800 block of Bowline Drive in Forked River for a report of fireworks being set off. Investigation at the scene led to a special form of complaint and summons being issued against Joseph G. Materia, 33, of Bowline Drive, for possession/use of illegal fireworks. He was released at the scene.
1:56 a.m. -Officers Michael Verwey and Scott Keefe responded to the 800 block of Bowline Drive in Forked River for a report of loud music coming from a residence. Investigation at the scene led to a special form of complaint and summons being issued against Kyle E. Thacker, 34,Beam Avenue, Jackson, for excessive noise and possession of illegal fireworks. He was released at the scene.
