Lacey Cops: Bayville Man Had Nearly $12,000 In Unpaid Warrants

O'Brien was arrested after a motor vehicle stop on Dover Road

LACEY TOWNSHIP, NJ - Lacey police recently arrested a Bayville man who had nearly $12,000 in outstanding warrants, Police Chief Michael C. DiBella said.

Special Officer Michael Moeller stopped Daniel P. O'Brien, 25, on Dover Road near Good Luck Road on June 8, 2018, at 11:13 p.m. Officer Anthony Sarno also assisted.

They arrested him on a number of warrants, including a $10,000 Ocean County warrant, a $1,022 warrant out of Berkeley Township, a $500 Ocean Township warrant and a $389 Union Township warrant, DiBella said.

O’Brien was arrested and taken to police headquarters. He was also charged with hindering his own apprehension by providing false information to a law enforcement officer. He was unable to post bail and was taken to the Ocean County Jail in Toms River, the chief said.
