Lacey Cops Charge Forked River Teen With Underage Drinking

LACEY TOWNSHIP, NJ - Lacey police recently arrested a Forked River man who was found lying on the ground at the intersection of Lacey Road and Route 9 and charged him with underage drinking, Police Chief Michael C. DiBella said.
Officer Jason Lee responded to the area at 8:48 p.m. on Aug. 30. Investigation at the scene led to the arrest of Jontel Luke, 19, Windsor Street. Police also found that Luke had an outstanding $139 warrant out of Brick Township.
He was taken to police headquarters, then released on his own recognizance after he was unable to post cash bail. He was also charged on a special form of complaint summons with underage consumption of alcohol., the chief said.
