Lacey Police Arrest Two Men On Marijuana Charges

Arrests came after a motor vehicle stop on Route 9, police chief says

LACEY TOWNSHIP, NJ - Lacey police arrested two men on marijuana charges after a motor vehicle stop recently, Police Chief Michael C. DiBella said.

Officer Anthony Sarno was on patrol at 9 p.m. on March 10 and stopped the driver, Jared A. Giaimo, 18, Buckhannon, WV, and passenger Kyle Feery, 20, Woodland Road, Bayville on Lacey Road near Trenton Avenue for maintenance of lamps, the chief said.

He charged Giaimo with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, maintenance of lamps, tinted windows and possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle, DiBella said.

Feery was charged with possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Feery was taken to the Ocean County Jail in Toms River, the chief said.
