Lacey Police Charge Bayville Man With Stealing Items From Shed
An alert neighbor confronted the man, who dropped the items and fled, police chief says

LACEY TOWNSHIP, NJ - Lacey police recently charged a Bayville man with theft and burglary after a neighbor confronted him while he was stealing items from a shed on Beach Boulevard, Police Chief Michael C. DiBella said.
Officers Elton Copes and Patrick Watkins responded to the 300 block of Beach Boulevard in Forked River at 11:29 p.m. on April 17 on a report of a suspicious male carrying a flashlight. When a neighbor confronted him after he was spotted entering a shed and taking tools, the man dropped the tools and fled.
Officer Copes stopped a man near North Shore Drive in Forked River, and arrested Christopher Foster, 36, Frederick Drive, Bayville.

Foster was taken to police headquarters, where he was charged with burglary and theft, then released pending a future court date. The value of the items taken is estimated at $400, DiBella said.
