Lacey Police Charge Driver With Possession Of A Controlled Dangerous Substance

Arrest came after a traffic stop on Route 9 and Laurel Boulevard.

Lacey police recently arrested a Lanoka Harbor man and charged him with possession of a controlled dangerous substance after a motor vehicle stop at the intersection of Route 9 and Laurel Boulevard, Police Chief Michael C. DiBella said.

Officer Christopher Meyler conducted the traffic stop at 11:41 p.m. on July 18. He arrested Neil A. Larsen, 25, Hemlock Drive and took him to police headquarters. He was charged with possession of marijuana of 50 grams or less, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving while on the suspended list and possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle, the chief said.
