Lacey Police Charge Forked River Man With Drunk Driving
Carlos Quesada-Barrantes, 32, also facing drug, motor vehicle charges, police chief says

LACEY TOWNSHIP, NJ - Lacey police recently arrested a Forked River man for drunk driving and drug charges after a early morning traffic stop on Route 9 near Clearwater Drive, Police Chief Michael C. DiBella said.
Officer Scott Keefe stopped Carlos Quesada-Barrantes, 32, Clubhouse Drive, at 2:14 a.m. on March 5 for a traffic violation. The investigation led to his arrest for driving while intoxicated. He also had a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, the chief said.
Quesada-Barrantes was taken to police headquarters, where he was charged with possession of marijuana under 50 grams, possession of drug paraphernalia. reckless driving, improper passing, failure to maintain lane and possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle, in addition to DWI, DiBella said.

He was released to a family member pursuant to John’s Law, the chief said.
