Lacey Police Charge North Jersey Woman With Drunk Driving
Arrest came after a motor vehicle stop on Birch Road in Lanoka Harbor, police chief says

LACEY TOWNSHIP, NJ - Lacey police recently arrested a Mountainside woman for drunk driving after a motor vehicle stop on Birch Road in Lanoka Harbor, Police Chief Michael C. DiBella said.
Oficer Jesse Dalziel stopped Rita E. DiStefano, 64, of Creek Red Road at 11:14 p.m. on Saturday, Sept.15. Investigation at the scene led to her arrest for driving under the influence, reckless driving and failure to maintain lane, the chief said.
She was taken to police headquarters and processed. The vehicle she was driving was impounded pursuant to John's Law, DiBella said.
