Lacey Police Investigating Theft Of Prescription Medication
Medication was stolen from an abandoned vehicle on Station Drive, police chief says

LACEY TOWNSHIP, NJ – Lacey police are investigating the theft of prescription medication that was stolen from a vehicle around 2 p.m. on Sept. 1 on Station Drive in Forked River, Police Chief Michael C. DiBella said.
Officer Randolph Plis responded to police headquarters to take a report of theft at 10:34 a.m. on Sept. 2. The victim told police that her medication was stolen while she was out. She told police she stored the medication in an abandoned vehicle on her uncle's Station Road property, the chief said.
When she returned, the medication was gone. The value of the stolen medication is $136, DiBella said.
