Lacey Police, TD Bank Investigating Paypal Fraud Charges
Someone charged six items totaling $579.75 using victim's Paypal account, chief says

LACEY TOWNSHIP, NJ Lacey police and TD Bank are investigating six fraudulent Paypal charges from a resident's checking account, Police Chief Michael C. DiBella said.
Officer Christopher Meyler responded to police headquarters on a fraud report at 7 pm. on April 20. The victim told police she was contacted by the bank and was informed there were six possible fraudulent charges from her checking account totaling $579.75, the chief said.
Each transaction was made two minutes apart using a debit card that charged her Paypal account. Shortly after, the victim received six separate packages in the mail, each containing a pendant, all shipped from China. TD Bank froze the victim's account and is investigating, DiBella said.
