Lacey Schools To Discuss Reopening Plan Next Week
The Lacey Township Board of Education will meet on Aug. 30 to discuss the school reopening plan for the 2021-22 school year.
LACEY, NJ — The Lacey Township Board of Education will meet on Aug. 30 to discuss the school reopening plan for the 2021-22 school year.
During a board meeting on Thursday, Superintendent Vanessa Clark said the district's Road Forward Plan for September had not been released yet because it was not finalized.
“We are purposely waiting because guidance seems to be changing daily,” Clark said. “We have a special board meeting tentatively scheduled for Aug. 30 where we will be approving some final appointments with regard to personnel and our Road Forward Plan.”

The plan will outline information about executive order 251 that requires students and staff to wear face masks in schools.
The meeting will be held Aug. 30 at 6 p.m. at Lacey Township High School.
