Lacey Township Emergency Medical Services is looking to expand their team and hire two full-time EMTs.

LACEY, NJ — Lacey Township Emergency Medical Services is looking to expand their team and hire two full-time EMTs.

Lacey EMS is the primary agency serving Lacey Township with 14 EMTs currently on the staff. The agency handles all 911 calls for an ambulance 24/7 in the 08731 area.

The starting salary for the open EMT positions is between $45-50k annually with the opportunity to earn vacation and sick time. Both new and experienced EMTs are encouraged to apply, according to Lacey EMS Captain Ray Benedetti.

“It really is a very different place compared to other EMS agencies,” Benedetti said. “Our headquarters is immaculate. The vehicles are all well cared for and the leadership team is professional.”

He added that the job is ideal for college students, as the agency is flexible with school schedules.

“I have many young adults and they paid for their college education through what they earned here,” Benedetti said.

“As far as background, we're looking for somebody that’s really interested in becoming truly a part of an organization, and cares about the community as opposed to just coming in and picking up a paycheck,” he said.
