The play follows the rise of J. Pierrepont Finch, who uses a handbook titled “How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying” to climb the corporate ladder from a window washer to a high-powered executive, according to a district news release. Finch will tackle dangers such as the compliant “company man,” the office party, backstabbing co-workers, caffeine addiction and true love.
