Local Photographer Featured At Lacey Library In April
See the work of Barnegat native Kaylee McGrath throughout April at the Ocean County Library Lacey Branch's art exhibit.
LACEY, NJ — Take a trip to the Ocean County Library Lacey Branch in April and check out their art exhibit, "Red Rose Kay Photography & Multimedia," by a local photographer.
The exhibit will run April 1 through April 26. Patrons and visitors are invited to meet the artist, Kaylee McGrath, during a reception in the OCL Lacey Branch, 1:30 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. April 15. Light refreshments will be served. All ages are welcome.
McGrath became interested in photography while attending Barnegat High School. She simultaneously studied multimedia arts and business technologies at Ocean County Vocational-Technical School, under the New Jersey Board of Education's Super Senior Program, from 2013 to 2018.

The artworks on display will feature spring flowers and tranquil moments, reflecting her fascination with landscapes and nature, according to a library news release. McGrath achieves modern imaging and traditional styles of portraiture using a full-frame mirrorless camera and mobile photography techniques.
Her photography is regarded as calming and therapeutic, according to the library, while providing an honest look at life and nature.

The "Red Rose Kay Photography & Multimedia" exhibit is free and open to the public during regular Branch operating hours. No registration is needed to view the exhibit.
