Man Shoots Car During Road Rage Incident: Lacey Police
The Bayville man got out of his car with a gun, shot at the other car and then drove away during a road rage incident Thursday, police said.
LACEY, NJ — A Bayville man shot a car during a road rage incident Thursday morning on Lacey Road, police said.
The incident was reported around 8 a.m. Thursday, Lacey police said. A man had gotten out of his own vehicle brandishing a firearm, shot at another car and damaged it before fleeing the area in his car, police said.
Officers began to search the area, as other officers spoke with the driver who was shot at, police said. That driver's car had damage consistent with a projectile strike, police said; the driver was uninjured.

Police found the suspect, Paul R. Cacciola, at a Route 9 business parking lot in Lanoka Harbor. The 39-year-old Bayville man was taken into custody and officers seized a black pistol.
Cacciola was charged with certain person not to have a weapon, unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, terroristic threats, criminal mischief and interference with transportation. He was taken to Ocean County Jail, police said.
