Mayor Peter Curatolo spoke highly of last year’s trail — which was set up in a drive-thru style due to the pandemic. This year, it was reimagined as a walk-thru trail and expanded to include more scenes that range from silly to spooky to scary.
“It was complete thinking out of the box,” Curatolo said during a recent council meeting. “All the people who volunteered deserve a lot of credit. We had 1,500 cars go through in two nights and it gave an opportunity for Halloween to kids who weren’t going to have it otherwise.”
