Overdose Awareness Observed By Lacey Recovery Center
A candlelight vigil will be held Tuesday night at the Forked River Community Hall to honor lives lost due to accidental overdose.
LACEY, NJ — The Xodus Recovery Community Center will observe International Overdose Awareness Day at Forked River Community Hall on Tuesday night.
An event from 6 to 9 p.m. will include speakers, resources and a candlelight vigil to honor lives lost due to accidental overdose.
The center is asking people who have lost a loved one to an overdose to bring a photo for the center's memory wall.

If you are seeking help for your loved one or yourself there will be individuals at the event with lived experience available to help.
The XRCC in Lanoka Harbor helps Ocean County residents who struggle with addiction navigate the road to recovery. XRCC provides peer coaching, group recovery support and family meetings for those seeking to access and sustain long-term recovery.
