The Pheasant Run Community in Forked River hosts a food drive every year for Vetwork in November to commemorate Veterans Day. This year was no different and we were able to donate approximately 19 cans of coffee, 7 creamers, 7 bags of sugar, 8 bottles of honey, 12 boxes of tea, 11 boxes of hot chocolate, 15 cans of soup, 17 boxes of cookies and crackers, multiple various cans of vegetables, soups, yams, beans, grape jelly, peanut butter, rice, noodles and coffee filters. And a $20.00 cash donation.
This Veterans Day please remember to thank a Veteran. America is the land of the free because of the brave!
