Phone Scam Targets Lacey Senior
Police are asking residents to be alert and report any potential phone scams

Police are asking Lacey seniors to be alert of a phone scam.
An elderly township resident reported a possible phone scam, police said. The resident received a call from an unfamiliar person who identified himself as “Johnny Black.”
The caller informed the resident that she won $30,000 and continued to say that in order to collect her winnings, the resident needed to provide $350, police said. Failure to do so would result in the IRS being notified, the fraudulent caller said.
