Pickup Truck Stolen From Lacey Owner's Driveway: Police Chief

Theft occurred in the 200 block of Lane Place in Forked River, Police Chief Michael C. DiBella says

LACEY TOWNSHIP, NJ - Lacey police are investigating the theft of an unlocked 2006 Ford F150 pickup truck taken from a driveway in the 200 block of Lane Place in Forked River recently, Police Chief Michael D. DiBella said.

Officer Scott Anderson responded to the home on Wednesday, June 13 on a report of a stolen vehicle. The pickup was missing from the driveway when the owner woke up. The keys to the truck were kept in the glove box, the chief said.

Another unlocked vehicle, which was also parked in the driveway, had been was rummaged through but nothing appeared to have been taken. There were three other victims in the area who also reported that their vehicles have been entered, but no items were reported missing, DiBella said.
