Popcorn Park Looking For Loving Home For Mother and Daughter Pair

Katy and Roxy, two fluffy spitz mixes, would like to be adopted together

LACEY TOWNSHIP, NJ - Katy and Roxy, two beautiful fluffy spitz mixes, need a loving home where they can be together for the rest of their lives.

Katy, 6, (the black one) is Roxy's daughter. Roxy is 14. Both dogs were somewhat neglected in their previous home and needed medical care when they arrived at Associated Humane Societies Popcorn Park shelter.

"They don't ask for much, just to stay together forever, since they are very bonded," according to the shelter's Facebook page.

Both dogs needed dental work and had masses that had to be removed.

"Our veterinarian took care of all of that and the girls are feeling brand new again!" the post states.

One of Roxy's mammary masses was carcinoma. It was removed, but needs to be watched closely in the future, the post states.

The two dogs are very well behaved and loving. They get along with other dogs, but would do better in a home with no small children, since they have no experience with children.

If you can open your heart and home to these pups, come in and meet them. Their file number is #27958.

Interested in adopting? Go to the shelter's Facebook page, click on the "about" section, then scroll down to "general information" for all adoption information.

If you can't adopt Katy and Roxy, you can still sponsor them and become their part-time pet parents. Click here to find out how: https://www.ahscares.org/shop/item.asp?
