The Relay for Life typically features a survivor luncheon, entertainment, food, a luminaria ceremony and a fight back ceremony. In 2012, the event also had activities planned for each hour such as a magician, pony rides, face painting, games and relays.
The funds raised at the Relay goes to various programs provided by the American Cancer Society including the Reach to Recovery program, which introduces breast cancer patients to survivors trained to answer questions and provide support.
