School District Cancels Kindergarten Orientation

Due to the inclement weather that is expected to ensue Wednesday evening, the Lacey Township School District has canceled its Kindergarten Orientation.

The orientation, which was scheduled for 6 p.m. tonight, will be on Tuesday, March 12 at 6 p.m. in the high school auditorium.

Parents and guardians are invited to attend Kindergarten Orientation for children eligible to enter kindergarten in September 2013, when the district will be launching its first full day program.

School district elementary principals, kindergarten teacher and district administrators will be introduced. Parents and guardians will have the opportunity to become familiar with a “Day in the Life of a Kindergartener.”

Kindergarten registration packets that include information for enrolling children in school will be provided.

Refreshments will be served.
