LACEY, NJ — Thousands are without power, businesses are closed and more as the Jones Road Wildfire burns through thousands of acres in Southern Ocean County.

The fire, which started Tuesday afternoon on the border of Barnegat and Waretown, has grown to at least 8,500 acres as of Wednesday morning. Read more: 8,500 Acre Wildfire Still Burning In South Jersey
