Why do you believe the teacher should be recognized or honored?

There are so few teachers who make magic in a classroom. Who light up every student they teach. Sherry Heck does this year in and out and my kids, who are going into middle school in September, just adore her. She started off their academic career with a bar set high that only a few have come close to touching it. She's amazing!

What's one thing you want everyone to know about the teacher?

Not only does she truly teach and her students really learn, she loves them while she does it. Her students gain such confidence from simply being in her class and that counts for more than anything you can learn in kindergarten.
