Police Share Tips For Future Emergencies In Lacey

LACEY, NJ — Thousands of Lacey residents were evacuated temporarily this week as the Jones Road Fire raged through the area. As the fire continues burning, Lacey police are sharing resources to help residents in any future emergencies.

Lacey police use OnSolve Code Red as their reverse 911 system. While landlines, home phones and business phone numbers are automatically in the system, cellphones need to be registered. You can sign up for this service here.

The Ocean County Sheriff's Office has a similar system that sends out alerts regarding road closures and more. These are sent through email, text and phone calls. You can sign up here.
