The process of lining the storm drain pipes is done by high pressure steam and heat. The steam is pumped into the pipe which needs to maintain a certain temperature. Once temperature is met the baking process takes approximately 3 hours with constant steam and pressure. Once the initial process is complete another hour and a half to cool the pipe. Once that is completed, the now fully cured liner will be cut flush and completed.
The contractor will be there through Dec. 2.
