Woman That Lacey Police Found Sleeping In Car Facing Drug Charges

LACEY TOWNSHIP, NJ - Lacey police recently arrested a woman found sleeping in her car in the parking lot of PNC Bank on several drug charges, Police Chief Michael C. DiBella said.

Officer Daniel Ricciardella responded to the bank on Lacey Road in Forked River at 5:37 p.m. on March 4 on a report of a suspicious vehicle with a person inside sleeping, the chief said.

There he found Jadie Dodds, 23, Grace Drive, Manahawkin, NJ. She was found with marijuana, one Percocet, and drug paraphernalia. She also had an active $750 active warrant out of Stafford Township.

Dodds was taken to police headquarters, where she was charged with possession of marijuana under 50 grams, possession of a controlled dangerous substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was also charged possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle and driving on the revoked list, DiBella said.

Dodds was unable to post bail and was taken to the Ocean County Jail in Toms River.
