2 Injured In Rollover Crash On Route 70 In Lakewood

Both drivers were taken to area hospitals following the two-vehicle crash that left one on its roof, police said.

LAKEWOOD, NJ — Two people were injured Sunday night in a crash on Route 70 in Lakewood that left one vehicle sitting on its roof, police said.

The crash happened just before 10 p.m. near the intersection with Shorrock Street, Lakewood Lt. LeRoy Marshall said.

The two-vehicle crash left one vehicle overturned, Marshall said.

Police and EMS provided medical assistance to the drivers, who were taken to area hospitals for injuries that were not believed to be life-threatening, Marshall said.

Lakewood Fire Department also assisted with the crash. The investigation is continuing, he said.
