Detours Set For Massachusetts Avenue During Construction In Lakewood

LAKEWOOD, NJ — Construction along Massachusetts Avenue in Lakewood will mean delays and detours in the area for the next three weeks, Lakewood police said Tuesday.

The construction involves road improvements along the stretch from Cross Street to Prospect Street, Patrolman Alex Guzman Sr. said.

Northbound traffic on Massachusetts Avenue will be detoured, but southbound traffic will be permitted at all times, Guzman said.

All emergency vehicles will have access and can proceed with caution, he said.

The road construction is being done by Lucas Brothers Inc., Guzman said.
