Downed Tree Blocks Route 88 In Lakewood Area: DOT

LAKEWOOD, NJ - A downed tree in on Route 88 in Lakewood has prompted commuting delays in the area Monday morning, authorities said.

As of 6:19 a.m., there's a downed tree on the state highway westbound west of CR 549/Lanes Mill Road in Lakewood Township, according to the New Jersey Department of Transportation.

All lanes are currently closed, the agency said.
