Garden State Parkway Brush Fire Reported In Lakewood: DOT
The New Jersey Department of Transportation is warning commuters of a brush fire on the Garden State Parkway Friday morning.

LAKEWOOD, NJ — The New Jersey Department of Transportation is warning commuters of a brush fire on the Garden State Parkway Friday morning.
As of 8:33 a.m., the fire was reported northbound exiting at Exit 89A - NJ 70 East in Lakewood, the NJDOT said.
All lanes are currently open to traffic, the agency said.

The Ocean County Sheriff's office said motorists should expect delays in both directions because of the fire.
The New Jersey State Forest Fire Service says the fire danger is high in Ocean County today because of the dry conditions and the heat.
