Halloween Trick-Or-Treat Hours, Curfew In Lakewood
Halloween is here, and Lakewood has a curfew. Here's what you need to know.
LAKEWOOD, NJ — Halloween brings with it talk of ghouls and goblins ... and of the fun of trick-or-treating and Mischief Night.
Lakewood has a year-round curfew for minors of 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian unless they are going to or from a job, an organized sports event or a religious function.
Trick-or-treating is on Halloween; Lakewood officials have not announced specific times but it generally happens between 3 p.m. and 9 p.m.

(Some confusion arises because neighboring Toms River holds its trick-or-treating on Oct. 30 to avoid conflict with the Toms River Fire Company 1 Halloween Parade, which is held on Halloween.)
