New Hampshire Ave Closed In Lakewood Due To Downed Pole, Wires

LAKEWOOD, NJ — New Hampshire Avenue is shut down in Lakewood Wednesday morning due to a motor vehicle crash, police said.

The closure, between Cedar Bridge Avenue and Pine Street is in both directions because the crash brought down a utility pole and wires that are blocking it in both directions, police said.

Police said it is unclear when the road will reopen, and motorists are urged to avoid the area.
