Officers recovered shell casings on Laurel Avenue, stopped a black vehicle on Ocean Avenue, and seized a loaded firearm and suspected drugs before filing several weapons and assault-related charges.

After years of advocacy, lawmakers approved a reimbursement-based system aimed at stopping millions from being returned unused, with Lakewood previously sending back about $6.6 million in one year alone.
