Residents can view powerful archival photos tracing the Holocaust during regular library hours, with strong backing from local and state organizations committed to combating antisemitism and promoting human rights education.

Toms River Man Indicted on Aggravated Manslaughter, Vehicular Homicide Charges in Fatal Lakewood Crash (thelakewoodscoop.com) — A Toms River man has been indicted after a high-speed, alcohol-related crash in Lakewood Township that killed a passenger on Cedar Bridge Avenue in May. Investigators say his car crossed the centerline, went airborne, struck utilities and trees, and landed upside down in a drainage ditch, leading to upgraded charges including aggravated manslaughter and vehicular homicide.
   

4. NEW: New Jersey Department of Human Services Now Accepting New Applications For The Child Care Assistance Program (thelakewoodscoop.com) — New Jersey is reopening applications for its Child Care Assistance Program, which already helps over 6,000 children in the Lakewood area afford daycare. Low-income working families can pre-register online now, with priority for those at or below the federal poverty level, homeless families, and children with special needs. Slots will be capped at 75,000 statewide and a waiting list will be used.
