Saturday

Slackwood Volunteer Fire Company Family Car Wash, 21 Slack Ave., Lawrenceville, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The cost will be $5 per car and all proceeds will directly benefit the active members of the fire company. The kids of the fire department will also be selling baked goods, lemonade, ice cold water, hamburgers and hot dogs.

Sangria Sampler Weekend at Terhune Orchards, 330 Cold Soil Road, Princeton, noon.

Free tastings of fresh made sangria with Terhune Orchards fruit, also available for purchase by the glass. Go home with the recipe, bottle of wine and all the ingredients from the farm store and be ready for your next gathering, BBQ or picnic. Families welcome. Enjoy an afternoon on the farm and a refreshing drink in the tasting room. 

Freedom Festival, 1638 Old Trenton Rd, West Windsor, 3 p.m.

Live bands, fireworks, festival foods, kids entertainment, beer and wine garden.

Sunday

New Jersey Symphony Concert, 1638 Old Trenton Rd, West Windsor, 7:30 p.m.

Relax with friends and family and enjoy an evening under the stars in beautiful Mercer County Park Festival Grounds. The perfect mix of light classical and popular favorites—with a patriotic flair—will welcome summer with style. Fireworks will light up the night sky immediately following the concert.
