9 Powerball Winners In NJ As Jackpot Hits $1.7 Billion

The Powerball jackpot climbed to a staggering $1.7 billion Wednesday night, making it the third-largest prize in U.S. lottery history.
Meanwhile, nine New Jersey players celebrated substantial secondary winnings.
Wednesday's winning numbers were 03, 16, 29, 61, 69 with Powerball 22 and multiplier 02.

Although no ticket nationwide matched all numbers for the grand prize, New Jersey players had plenty to celebrate.
Eight Garden State players matched four white balls plus the Powerball, earning $50,000 each. An additional player who included the multiplier option turned their four white balls and Powerball match into a $100,000 prize.

- Howell Corner Store, 2989 US Highway 9, Howell
- Shoprite #610, 860 Fischer Blvd, Toms River, Ocean County
- SUNOCO Richwood, 705 Mullica Hills Road, S. Harrison, Gloucester County
Since May 31, 1.6 million New Jersey residents have won prizes. Among those, 50 Garden State players have won prizes of at least $50,000.
That list includes four $1 million payouts, one $300,000 payout, one $150,000 and five $100,000.
