Northeast Corridor Train Service Resumes, Up to One Hour Delays
The shutdown occurred after a pedestrian was struck.
**UPDATE**
All train service at Metropark was disrupted after a pedestrian was struck by an Amtrak train,according to NJ.com.
According to the report, the pedestrian was hit by a train at 3:30 p.m. Monday by am Amtrak train carrying 206 passengers.
NJ Transit reported all service on the Northeast Corridor line was suspended between Metropark and Trenton due to the fatality.
