
Quaker Bridge Mall Security and Lawrence Township Police had a busy week with shoplifters. Police say the alleged thieves stuffed stolen merchandise into shopping bags and on their person and tried to leave the mall.
The incidents include the following:
- Thursday, June 13 shortly before 3 p.m., a 16-year-old Trenton female and a 17-year-old Trenton female, allegedly hid $1,345.95 worth of clothing, jewelry and sunglasses from H&M in shopping bags and left the store without paying, according to Lawrence Township Police. Mall security and Police stopped the teens at the bus stop and brought them back to the store. They were each charged with receiving stolen property and were turned over to their parents.
- On Thursday, June 13 shortly before 6 p.m., a 14-year-old Trenton male and a 17-year-old Trenton male allegedly stole clothing from H&M, a total value of $749.85. They allegedly left the store with the merchandise concealed and were stopped at the bus stop. Both boys were charged with shoplifting and turned over to their parents.
- On Saturday, June 15 at 2 p.m. , a 12-year-old female from Trenton and a 13-year-old male from Trenton allegedly concealed clothing, valued at a total of $122 from Macy's and left the store without paying. Both were charged with shoplifting and turned over to their parents.
- On Sunday, June 16 shortly after 5 p.m. a 14-year-old Princeton male and a 15-year-old Princeton male allegedly stole a total of $60 worth of clothing from JC Penney and left without paying. Both were turned over to a parent.
